resemblance?

There are so many pictures in our family albums of me as a teenager with this exact same smirk.

in the underwater tunnel at the aquarium. Lucia cannot stop talking about the fish and sharks she saw and especially the starfish, she keeps saying "I touch I touch!"

Imagine going to a party in your awesome cat costume only to be upstaged in the bathroom by a much more real "looking" cat. Enough to throw any girl into a tantrum.

Happy Halloween

Talking up a storm

It has been so fun lately to hear all the new words Lucia has to say. Suddenly I am realizing that she is really understanding so much of what I say all the time and she will recall things I only told or showed her once in the past next time the subject comes up.
Some words that she has mastered (with her own pronunciation of course) and says on a regular basis are: mama, milk, agua, cheese, snack, socks, cat, ball, juice, baby, book, hi, duck, nunu (pacifier), sun, moon, flower, more, all done, eyes, dance, sit & off (both usually directed at Niko), side (meaning outside),  bubbles (meaning either bubbles or bubbly water), Nina, Tisha (her 2 favorite friends), night night, bye bye, and "bye bye guys!"
