Oh, what is this?

It's a hand crocheted cheeseburger made for Lucia with love by Miss Chantelle. Allright!

Fancy Footwear, Fruit Smoothie

Just in case simple walking is getting too easy now, Lucia likes to step it up a notch with high heels. She is especially fond of this pair and always manages to pull them back out of the far reaches of the closet when I put them away.
Yum.

Crazy Baby

Lucia has returned from her viral hiatus as wild as ever!

Summertime Fun

(I can't imagine why people say the celebrity she resembles most is Don Rickles!)

7.09.2008

Lucia got to spend 4th of July weekend barbequing and carousing with her grandparents and Aunt Dinah.

Still Life with Dog, Shoe, and Tired Baby

Favorite Summer Fruit: Apricots!
Could this crazed troll be a vision of Lucia in the future?
P.S. I swear Lucia actually does wear pants sometimes. Just not so much around the house lately it seems.

Fascinating Peg Game

Thanks Ace, Rydell & TR for introducing it to our lives.

High Marks

Lucia is really excelling in the fields of:
...making messes,
...chilling,
...ticklishness

Went to San Diego to visit Grandma and Grandpa

on the swings with grandpa in the backround
If you look closely you can see a tile to her right that reads "Adam and Matthew Romo, Tucson, AZ"

More Party Pics

I just looked in my camera and found a few more photos that I just had to share.

Birthday Party

Lucia's first birthday party was a great success, thanks to all the great friends who helped us celebrate. (click on images to enlarge)

Visiting with Angela

I thought I'd include one of Lucia having a good cry. Most of the blog just shows her smiling away and, well, this happens too.

Swinging in Style

Here is Lucia at the playground sporting her very first pair of shoes. I still can't get her to put a hat on her head (hence the squint) but she has finally given in to the shoe thing. Which is nice because she just started walking! Hopefully we'll get a video of that up here next.
